The Calming Power of Water

When I need to calm my mind and re-energize, I go anywhere near a body of water. There is no denying the positive effects of being near the ocean, a lake, or a running stream.

When you’re feeling overwhelmed, out of sorts, or just sad, be kind to your soul and take yourself to the water. If you can’t, fill the bathtub with plenty of hot water and bath salts instead and float for 30 minutes. You can’t find that kind of peace in a pill.

Breath in… Breath out… in time with the breath of the waves.
